We evaluated this product for a client who then decided to have us customize it for them.

They seemed to like it very much. It's simple to setup out of the box (they send you a zip file) . It's open source, so you have full access to it.

A VERY good alternative to HumanClick or LivePerson.
It even features a bell sound when people request a live sessions.

We use PHPLive, and it's pretty good, although there are a couple of bugs. However, updates are released on a regular basis, and it's improving in each update.

Well recommended.

If you're looking for a free ticketing-support service , you can always try www.perldesk.com , which also is (i believe) open source. So the logo you keep on seeing on your top-left can be changed, I think.

We use this system on our website for webhosting support and it is the best we have ever seen.
