WHM/cpanel needs an official license so that you can use it .! but if you are looking for a good and free hosting control panel, then whmautopilot is a good one.
But you need to have good knowledge of linux in that case .!

Hi Kris,
Answer of you first question:
You use Cpanel/WHM for running webhosting business. Because they help set up accounts,email,databases..etc...actually all aspects of webhosting can be handled by this two.
Answer to your second question:
You can use WebMin(www.webmin.com)..if you have Unix platform..and Zpanel(www.thezpanel.com)...if you have windows platform....And these two are free:)
Also search WHT forums for feedback on this two..and other free softwares..
Hope this helps

lol, sorry from my previous post.. I intended you to introduce to "Webmin" and I mentioned "whmautopilot" by mistake ;)
Sorry for that.
Well if you are technically sound then you can really opt for "webmin". You can also hire good sys admins to get it work..
Moreover its free :)
Spend a few $$ and you can then get good panels like cpanel, plesk etc :D

Hi,
Just get a reseller account first...then as you grow...you can switch to dedicated......by that time you will have experience too

I don't mean any offence by this comment, however I feel it has to be said; I really think you need to improve your English before you even consider starting any kind of business.
Perhaps you are simply being a little lazy as this is a web forum and thus does not require the best use of grammar and spelling. I apologise if this is the case, however I feel it is important for any new business to obtain a good reputation from the very start. If you present yourself in a professional manner people will generally take you more seriously.
Good luck with the business! :)
