It is called phishing. I get at least one day from Paypal (but not sent to my Paypal e-mail, Ikobo (never signed up with them, ebay (never signed up with them, plus a few other banks like Citibank etc who I do not even have an account with. Now they are changing it a little, to state that the bank is offer bill pay or something like that

i got the same thing . i get it once a week and i report it everytime . its so annoying .. wonder where they get all our names from ..

Usually from spam databases. The e-mails for this usually come to my 'generic' e-mail and even some that are found on my websites for 'special' purposes i.e. autoresponders. They are never sent to my 'real' Paypal e-mail address.

Wouldn't you hate it if one of your customers got ****ed over by the paypal hax0r and they couldn't pay you? Its better to get alerted about these thigns to not know about them at all :)

Seems like the paypal fraud is going around quite a bit at the moment. I have investigated a few reports of email fraud being relayed and such... Simple thing is, don't give your details to anyone but paypal.com and always check for the SSL symbol (the padlock) down the bottom right next to internet (ie).
