Our designer artists (including me) need some insights on the hosting terminologies like: server, bandwidth, dedicated hosting, transfer per month, etc.

They will need that in order to fully comprehend what the web hosting business is all about. That way, they can fully internalize it and come up with more relevant designs.

Can you point us out to a good reference sites on this one?

I can't think of a site right now, but usually with a decent hosts, on their plan page, they have a glossary which gives you a summary of what each term means.

Just find a few large hosting companies and go on to their hosting plan pages.
