Just after that I was sure it was a scam. Especially since you received it in your email, maybe if it came by snail-mail I would have found it to maybe be credible, but nah, it's a scam

If it looks like a scam, smells like a scam, walks like a scam; it most likely is a scam.

I would never give an unknown organization access to my bank account via a wireless funds transfer.

Never.

I can bet my life that its a scam, absolutly NO reputable charity would ask you to transfer money from one account to another. Exp. to a account outside of the USA..

Seriously, if this were a real organization in Latvia (as the bank information suggests is the location), their name wouldn't be in English so this could be a crude translation. But, then they wouldn't be using an acronym like UCRF, would they?

Actually it's not any one thing that cries out "fraud;" it's the whole package including the request for a bank transfer instead of for a check or credit card contribution like any other charity does; and including the absolute lack of any contact or background information. Even if the organization really exists, there's no way to know how responsibly they'd use your donated money.

This one is even less credible than the "Nigerian money laundering" scam. If you're not sure if something is a scam, it almost certainly is.

I can tell because I probably get 300 spam emails in my hotmail account per week. So I've picked up the skill of being able to tell what's spam (Or a scam) and what's not.

BTW my most received spam email I get is probably the one that goes....

Hi Inogenius,
You've recently been referred to me as someone that is in need of a financial break through.... yadda... yadda... yadda
