Hi all.

I am one of those AN customers who is looking for a new home.

I have searched around a bit and it seems beachcomber.net are doing a special on a 2.8ghz server with 1500 gigs bandwidth for $120.00 per month (which is what I was paying AN for a lower spec server).

So all I am after are a few honest testimonials from a few people who are using their services. For example, how is the support, how reliable are they, are they likely to end up as AN, are the servers good???

I need to move fast as I have had enough of managed.com as I made payment to them last night, my site came back up and now it is down again for no apparant reason - this sucks!

Cheers - Dav:D :D :D

I have had a server with beachcomber for almost 3 months now. All my support tickets have been taken care of within 5 hours. They are always eager to help and they comunicate well with their customers. IMO you cant go wrong with beachcomber, especially if you are leaving from AN :)

I agree with hoststylez - i've been with them for 7 months now - support has been great to me no matter what i've thrown at them.

I was a former AN client and switched to Beachcomber and so far they have been nothing but helpful, server is lightning fast. I don't think you can go wrong with them. Plus I swamped them with support tickets for the first two days and they answered them all politely and fast. They also have given me great tips and helpful facts included in the emails. So My thumbs up to them for that.

Beachcomber are great people to work with - fast support, and always willing to help. They always put the customer first. I had a server with them a while ago, and I would definitely recommend them - Mark especially was a great help, and very understanding to my needs.

If you go with Beachcomber, you certainly will get excellent value for money, and you'll also be dealing with a really nice set of people :)

ah i booked a server with them around 5 hours back and the answer i got from them is that they cannot book our server untill tuesday or wednesday.

I know mark is really great person to deal with. But after AN ordeal we needed a company who can do fast setup for us.But beachcomber will take around 3-4 days just for setup as they have informed me and i dont think i can afford such delays.

It's also labor day weekend so staff is most likely spending time with their family. I think I read somewhere that they'll still answer e-mails, just that setup is suspended until Tueday due to the holiday weekend.

Well incript_services it does say this on their server page

IMPORTANT NOTE:
Please keep in mind that, in most cases, Dedicated Server orders take 1-2 Business days to fulfill. We do not deploy new servers on weekends, so orders received on Friday-Sunday will usually be delivered late Monday evening or Tuesday morning
