Im looking on getting myself fammilar with some *nix OS's so i could hopefully setup my own gameservers and hosting for my personal use.

Would any of you guys give a recommendations or maybe the ups and downs of these OS's? Im trying to read their home websites, but i cant make a good decision when all three say their all stable, secure etc...id like to hear first person experiences more

I have used Fedora, FreeBSD, and Debian, and my preference is Debian. Debian's apt-get cannot be matched, definitely better than RPMs (Fedora) and ports (FreeBSD).

Fedora for me.FreeBSD is good too.
