Eeeeak. Yeah, and I just realized I had 14 open now. Really have to close *something* I'm sure there are people worse than me though... :(

I assume your not using Windows ME, that many windows open would kill your resources. LOLOLOL

On KDE it is cool. You can have something like 10 wondows for each virtual desktop.

Also you can group similar windows. So there is very little cluttering... :)
On Windows..... no more that 4 or 6 I guess...

Have a great day :)

I usually don't mind having too many windows open after all the whole point is to save time jumping back and forth. XP does a good job of grouping windows and it some what annoying with that.

Norton Utilities has always been a utility program, not a windows manager. It's still available btw, and hardly a time of the past... (NU 2002 is very likely in stock on the shelf of your local Wal-Mart's software section...)

There was a Norton Commander (in the DOS days), and for a very brief period, there was a Windoze version of Norton Commander (called something else other than "Norton Commander" I believe...)

But anyway, for Windoze users there are things like Desktop Plus, http://www.desktopplus.com/about.html , which does the "windows management" thing...
