I am currently trying to change the name servers for a client domain that was registered with Netsol.com. I have been running in circles. First, after an extensive search and researching this forum, I was able to locate the form to add a new host to their database, then I received an e-mail :
We have sent an e-mail notification message to Guardians for this
host and the domain name where the host resides, asking for their
approval or disapproval of the change you have asked for. We will
follow the first set of instructions we receive.
Which should be me.
I then added my name as contact again, only to receive:
ERROR: contact already registered
I would appreciate any advice/help.

Call them directly. that's the only way I get any straight answers out of them.

Their contact forms seem to be hopelessly broken.
For some strange reason they created multiple contacts NICs for me with basically the same info. When I tried to fix something for one I got a message from them asking me to consolidate the different contacts. So I use their form to delete a contact and go through the validation e-mail and all and what do you think they send back as a result? The same "Contact is already registered" error you're getting. No kidding you think that the contact I'm trying to delete is actually in their system already? What a shock.
Oh well, I don't really care that there are multiple instances of my name in their screwed up database. It's their problem now.

Be sure you get this worked out before renewal time.
I would hate to see you unable to communicate your renewal or transfer and lose the domain because of it.

Funny this thread is here. I just got a reply to an email I sent to NetSol 6 weeks!!! after requesting assistance with the same issue. I would definitely call them.

Thanks everybody, I will try to get them on the phone to straighten this out. I just called a friend who works for a bigger design/hosting company and he told me even they have huge problems with Netsol. It caused them to stop using Verisign to allow their customers financial transactions on the web. I wonder what Verisigns business model i, ignore both individual customers and big businesses.
If my phone calls don't work out, I will try to transfer registrars to DirectNic. Will Netsol start playing games with that to?? Anybody have experience with that?

I had the same experience as jnestor. I ended up faxing them a contact form. Its a long and tedious process but they deleted them about a week later.

Oh ya...Ive had the same thing going on. I am trying to get my name server to be in the netsol whois database and it is taking forever. They claim there is an error in their database that is preventing their whois from reading the global internic servers.
I faxed forms, called phone support, and sent emails. Its been over a week and they said they will have this done but its still not being done.
Why does this company suck so bad? I will tell you why... the hold a huge strangle hold on the internet world ever since Network Solutions was the only choice and I think they still have this mentallity that they can take forever to process orders and get things done. It is no wonder why other Registrars are being used more.
Netsol sucks hardcore...anyone else think so?
