I have been having email problems, which is most likely due to DNS problems. I run my own dns and have started to have problems last night.

my site is now inaccessable... :(

I am in the above ip range/subnet... There is a good chance that it's becasue of some dns changes i made recently so it's not necessarily a network problem.

I spend 1hour on the phone with Greg of RS tEch last night.

There was a problem with their primary dns (ns.ev1.net or ns1.ev1.net) which serves ns/ns1.rackshack.net

The problem was that ev1 dot net zone files were not updating with the zone info from rackshack.

You should find it okay now.

I am using my own dns and it was working before the incident you mentioned but not anymore. Do you think it could be relatated?

I already sent a trouble ticket, problem is, i'm not sure if the person that will look at the ticket will actually be able to do something...

I don't know, but maybe you could email me (webhosting at thednt dot net) with the following:

You master IP
your machine type and software install
your current primary and secondary ips

I will then have a look for you

Rackshack seem a little beset by problems todaY, again.
