View Full Version : Security Information Notice in IE, "Secure and Insecure Items"

I am in the process of completing my new website. Fixing errors, bugs, grammar, etc....

When using Internet Explorer and going to the following secure areas:

https://www.extremeis.net/mb/order/
https://www.extremeis.net/esupport/

I get the following Security Information Message:

"This page contains both secure and non secure items. Do you want to display the non secure items?

You can choose yes and the lock won't show up for ssl, you can choose no and the lock will show up and in my case the site looks completely normal, no broken links, etc... which I would normally expect.

I know there is an easy fix for this but I can't for the life of me figure it out. Out of frustration I thought I would check with the members here and see if anyone can guide me or point me in the right direction to fix this.

Thank you in advance for any assistance you can offer.

Ok, I fixed the "https://www.extremeis.net/esupport/"

I think I can fix the other now too.

See? Just posting here automatically makes me find the errors!

can you share the info please?
I have the same problem. All the images' paths are relatives. (none contains http:// )
Also, the lock pad does not appear at the bottom of my page when using ie, but it appears when using firefox and opera.
Any help please??

Some servers I have noticed work better with a virtual path(i.e. /images/background.jpg instead of images/background.jpg)
