I got a question yet again, I was told that you must use a dedicated ip to enable ssl? Is this true? Because I saw a site whitch offered "shared" ssl, what is this? Hope someone could answer this for me.

Shared SSL is when you have 1 SSL cert installed on your host, say for example https://secure.domain.com. Each client would then have a subdirectory for their SSL stuff. It would then be accessed like https://secure.domain.com/clients/comany/secureform.cgi. That's what a shared SSL cert is. ;) |
