Hi,

I have a RaQ at Rackshack. I requested additional ip addresses and was told my server is "currently on a subnet that does not have any additional ip's."

They said they could move my server to another subnet and give me additional addresses. Can anyone tell me what I will need to do if I decide to move the server?

Have any of you done this before? Encountered any problems?

I have no idea what is involved and I'd really appreciate it if anyone has any pointers.

Goto "Control Panel", "Network"

There you can change all info,
MAKE SURE the info you enter is correct, else you wont be able to connect to your machine remotely

Addition:

If you're running many domains, you'll have to change the DNS info for all of them to point to the new IP

This could be alot of work if you have many sites.

You'll also have to change all the ip address of each site itself.
