I personally perfer Quickbooks. moinul 08-31-2004, 05:29 AM Quickbooks have a wide range of products in their family. Which one do you use? NVarra 08-31-2004, 02:18 PM We've been using Simply Accounting Pro for years to do our books. Quickbooks is more user friendly, but it would seem that Simply Accounting is prefered by professional bookkeepers & accountants. Check with our accountant and see what they'd prefer you to use. matrosov 08-31-2004, 04:37 PM I would go with Quickbooks Pro if you've never dealt with accounting before. It has a more user friendly and straightforward interface, and also some nice features such as search tools that QB basic does not have. dynamicnet 08-31-2004, 04:50 PM Greetings: QuickBooks or PeachTree. Thank you. NVarra 08-31-2004, 05:01 PM Originally posted by NVarra Check with our accountant and see what they'd prefer you to use. Hrmm... That should have been Check with your accountant and see what they'd prefer you to use. :) Darn 15 minute post edit restrictions. ajitknox 08-31-2004, 11:34 PM I would recommend Quickbooks Online. you can check your accounting even when you are on the road with this. fraudgate 08-31-2004, 11:40 PM QuickBooks is a favorite of most consumers, but our accountant prefers PeachTree. OfficeMax and Staples have run deals recently where you can get PeachTree free after rebate (normally over $200, I believe). If you're on a tight budget and don't mind rebates, that's something to consider. AdWatcher-Eugene 09-01-2004, 01:18 AM I don't know about that. Might want to check with your accountant first. Get whatever they're using as that will make your life much easier. Netrilli 09-01-2004, 01:24 AM Quickbooks is really easy to use. davidkm 09-01-2004, 04:14 AM Another vote for quickbooks - also quicken if you want to manage personal finances as well. Just wish there was an import from our hosting system to it moinul 09-02-2004, 08:22 AM Too many votes for Quickbooks and QBpro. :) That sounds good. magixman 09-03-2004, 01:08 AM Quickbooks does the job. Can't say I am in love with the product. It is not as easy to use as Quicken but still is pretty straight forward. The key is to make sure your chart of accounts (and the way you use those accounts) works for both you and your accountant. webepic 09-03-2004, 02:42 AM Well, not just that, but Quickbooks can manage practically any business regardless it being hosting or whatever.... always need this to help you out with managing your business.
