I had a crash last night, and could ping the machine just fine (Telnet, FTP, HTTP were all not responding though).

Looking at the kernel log, I found this entry:

www kernel: Unable to load interpreter /lib/ld-linux.so.2
www last message repeated 11 times
www last message repeated 5 times

After that the reboot starts. Any ideas? Any idea on what I can put in place to trap this problem, should it happen in the future?
