Howdy WHT people --

[To moderators, if you feel this belongs in another Forum, let me know and I'll recreate.]

As most of you know, I run EveryDNS.Net. We currently have two servers in San Diego, a server in San Jose, and a server in the Netherlands all serving redundant DNS information.

San Diego is our main hub where the website and database are hosted as well as ns1 and ns2. In March my current sponsor will not renew their racks at Verio (in San Diego) and will opt for colocation elsewhere. While I am more then likely able to move in where ever they do I need to have a plan now because it would not surprise me if they decided a week in advance where they wanted to move the servers to and I need time to prepare for the move (as well as help them move).

As many of you know DNS is a critical system and I can't rely on my current sponsor to come through (although they may). I have thousands of users relying on me and I do not wish to let them down.

What I am asking for is contact information for colocation facilities or people with about four U of rackspace at Colo facilities in San Diego or St. Louis. (I go to college in St. Louis)

Basically EveryDNS.net does not make money. It is my pride and joy and is also my pleasure. My current sponsor's only request of us was to host all their DNS and do some minor sysadmin work when they needed it.

I need to get this squared away in the next couple weeks. As a teaser...I do have a new version of everydns in the works which blows away any DNS admin I've ever seen (and I've seen a lot). I am also adding some really killer features which are pretty damn cool. Also, for those who don't know DNS is extremely low bandwidth. While it's true that I'm growing and every month we use a little more bandwidth then the previous month, we are still WAY below T1 speeds. We're talking a 10th of a T1 or less.

If you are a SERIOUS business with your own colo or lots of space at a colo in san diego or st. louis, I implore you to respond. I have my own hardware, I just need a couple U and some bandwidth

DNS is how the net works and EveryDNS works on the spirit of the net so please help.

Thank you,
David Ulevitch
Founder, EveryDNS.Net

ps: for those who are worried, regardless of what happens, everydns.net will not go down, it will not die, I will find a solution...I'm just looking now to save some rushing later.

pps: There is a possibility that one day in the not-so-distant future that EveryDNS will be self-supported from donations and will be able to pay for bandwidth and colo. I have all the financials organized and can show them to any inquirer...being able to pay for bandwidth and space is not far off and if you help us now and things work out, you've earned yourself a paying customer who does your DNS. ;-)

UPDATE: Sorry, some people thought I was looking for hardware. I have all my own servers, Ijust need a place to put them. (about three or four U in total)

I moved it to the dedicated/colo forum, which should be better, though members wishing to contact you about their services should still email/pm directly please.
