not exactly what you are looking for, but www.deviantart.com can be a starting point

They don't really have any royalty free icons that you can use in your designs, though, do they?

Those icons - are they completely free? In what ways are you allowed to use them? It probably says, but I can't read anything there.

If you make your own graphics yourself then you can distribute them all you want, royalty free. Anywhere that you can **BUY** graphics wants everybody else to also **BUY** them, right? If you are giving away their graphics for free (or otherwise making them available for free to your unlimited customers) you are then making it harder for this other company to have a market. This apparently is the basis for copyright laws which are there to limit your ability to redistribute something that is their livelihood.

Instead of trying to purchase a set of icons, look instead to places where they provide them for free.

Actually, those were bought (royalty free). He´s *sharing* them though

i belive templatemonster offer some of those icons, for use with their templates, only for their templates!

dont know if they got full rights to them or you can buy them else where to...

That said, I don´t think they are free ..

Yeah, you're right. Silly of the person to post the link in the first place. I'm fine with sticking to iconless designs for now, anyway. :)
