Accidently deleted webstat files from my site...are the cached anywhere so I could retrieve them?

That depends heavily on your server configuration. But probably no, why would an admin make two identical version of log files.

Indeed, it would surprise me if they would be duplicated; that would only cost system resources.
There's a slight change that the system runs a 12/24 hour log analysis, though, so that you would still have a summary of that logdata. But you'll have to check that with your sysadmin.
