Pipe problems with exim. Ticketsmith doesn't work anymore.

Hello,

I use Ticketsmith wich worked fine until I found out that the mail sent to helpdesk@host.com wasn't passed through to gateway.pl anymore.

I now get the following error:
pipe to |/home/host/public_html/helpdesk/gateway.pl
generated by helpdesk@host.com
Child process of virtual_address_pipe transport returned 69 (could mean service or program unavailable) from command:
/home/host/public_html/helpdesk/gateway.pl

Why do I get this error all of a sudden?

I added the following line in my /etc/valiases/host.com

helpdesk@host.com: "|/home/host/public_html/helpdesk/gateway.pl"

What is wrong her?

Problem solved!

Somehow the file permissions where changed. Strange because I didn't touch it...

I am with a virtual host and not access to the root, can I know more details how to set Ticketsmith up directly with sendmail in
/etc/aliases:

support: "|/path/to/gateway.pl"

Just ask your ISP to do it for you...
