Ok, I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post this issue here, but i'm absolutely stumped.

i'm not trying to get hits by including the url for my domain because if you go there, you'll see there's nothing there even.

anyways, my apologies beforehand for violating any rule that I may not know about for posting.

---------

my domain www.vividinterface.net, just finished propogating around the world about 2 hours ago.

when I visit www.vividinterface.net I get the page i'm expecting, but then when I visit just vividinterface.net I get the Register.com's coming soon page. I registered my domain at register.com but that was a long long time ago.

does anybody know how come vividinterface isn't pointing to the same spot? I'm not sure what is in the dns entry on the dns server for my domain. but i'm assuming that they are supposed to point to the same spot.

thanks

I checked and it seems your problem already is solved.

If it isn't solved on your end, I'ld suggest giving it another 12 hrs for the DNS to properly propagate

You are probably seeing the old page, because that's the URL that you have cached and it will therefore take longer, in most usual circumstances. You can log off-line and back online, or reboot, depending on your type of connection and see if that helps clear it up. Failing that, you can try a proxy to connect to the address you still show as the old site's content (I assume it was a parked domain page?). I'd have mentioned (and it looks like I still will, what do you know) that I once got a user complain that their domain still didn't update and it's been too long and how it still shows the register.com (or whatever registrar they were using) parked domain page. Upon doing a domain lookup at their registrar, I saw that they did add our name servers to their domain record, but that they still had the primary and secondary default name server addresses for their registrar had, which were overriding and taking precedence over our name servers, which were 3rd and 4th on the list. However, since the person above posted (I haven't tried to check your domains because of that), I can easily assume that is not the case for you and that it's simply the former.
