View Full Version : Anything else like MrRegistrar.com?
lesliechwz 01-09-2002, 03:15 PM Hello everyone,
Anyone know is there anymore domain reselling program like MrRegistrar.com or YourDomainCompany.com?
Where you can Set your own price, Don't need to handle payment process (they handle it too), Co-Branded (where I can design my own look and feel, template), No start-up fee or pre-pay domain and etc.
I'm currently registered with MrRegistrar.com but they just don't reply email. I need help and have question, send them an email but just don't get any reply.
I'm really really urgently need to find one and start selling cause my hosting services can only start with domain reselling together.
Help really appreciate... :) Thank you...
Warm regards,
Leslie

They charge you ten dollars and you can charge anything you want. They handle the billing and they send =you a check every month. But you have to have at least 50 dollars made in each mont to recieve your check. So say if you made 30 dollars in that month you would have to make 20 dollars the next month to recive a check.
Smirks 01-09-2002, 04:44 PM Have a look at dotester: http://ir.dotster.com
It's free, and offers all the features you want. :)
David@Digisurge 01-09-2002, 05:50 PM I second ir.doster.com . It is a piece of cake to setup. I think you charge a minimum of 10 dollars per domain. However you can set the price as high as you wish. If you sell a domain for 15 dollars you make 5 dollars profit for that one domain. Last I checked they support .com/.net/.org/.ws/.tv .
lesliechwz 01-09-2002, 10:33 PM Hi Smirks and David,
Thanks for your advise, I already know Dotster Instant Referral program. I don't pick their services is because it's too expensive. David, they are not selling at USD 10, they are selling at USD 12. This is way too expensive, how much we should sell buy getting a USD 12 wholesale price for a domain?
Any more idea with a lower price, MrRegistrar.com charge USD 9.90. If Dotster really charge USD 10, I will be with them already :(
Anymore advise? Please help...
Warm regards,
Leslie

lesliechwz 01-11-2002, 12:44 PM Hi,
Sometimes, I'm really wondering that this NET world is really this small. I'm trying to look for service provider that really commited and really in business, also can't get.
With what I need, I search and search... and what I get is company that don't commit/serious.
Trying to get some help from folks in WHT (here), what I get is only what I've filtered out.
All the suggestion of Dotster, ItsYourDomain and etc...
For those who suggest Dotster, didn't you have any problem with their system? I have problem with their control system. Always log me out after I logged in. And the features for my client like NameSpin and etc... always show the following message when I try to use it:
"No Settings for system"
OR (the or is my comment)
"Your session has expired.
Why does my session expire?
Sessions expire for two reasons:
1. For your security, your session expires a maximum of 2 hours after you last site access.
2. If you do not accept the cookies set on login or your computer is not configured to accept cookies, your session will expire almost immediately. We use cookies (small pieces of site information) to assist us in user authentication and in saving configuration information. Cookies are required for this system.
If you see this message immediately after accessing this site, you should check the following:
Check to see that your computer system time is accurate. Cookies are time sensitive and may not work if your computer date is incorrect by a large amount.
Make sure that your browser is configured to accept cookies.
Turn off any third party programs or control panels that automatically reject cookies.
No settings."
What is this? I can only use it when I set my cookie acceptant MANUALLY! Wasn't this suppose to work with DEFAULT OS configuration?
They expect all our client to set the browser cookie seeting to REGISTER (do business with them with more trouble)? :stickout
Second, contact with no reply. They call this business? How can I or anyone who want to provide a good/committed/reliable services to our client rely on them? Site down like normal (as having dinner or ****ting). Provide a not acceptable SO-CALLED good integration, Error 500 in control panel for reseller  ... Try to contact them but no reply...
MrRegistrar.com, another good reseller program from out look (skin that you can see)... What is inside is something that doesn't reply email for ONE WEEK
Is this another services that you're gonna rely on for your services? I bet not...
I don't want some day my client come to me and ask me why their domain management control panel cannot login and I try to ask them but without getting any answer... What should I answer to my client?
IS IT REALLY NO BETTER CHOICE FOR RESELLING DOMAIN?
Not to mention OpenSRS and etc...
What I'm talking and expecting here is in their level of features. Not big plan like OpenSRS and Enom and etc...
If you're not agree, hit me back...
Warm regards,
Leslie
