I want to start a small business based on membership / Subscription Service, but I need at least 20 GB capacity and 600 GB bandwidth. So I found out I must use dedicated servers for this purpose, and now the problem is about managing that dedicated server from attackers, viruses, errors, and specially how to use... because I know nothing about managing a dedicated server !!!

-Now I want to know what I can do, I must say what I should do?!
I heard it is hard to learn, is it really very hard to learn and perform myself for my small business? (As I said this is a small business that I work solely, plus some part-time employees)

-Or not that is not worth it and I must pay someone to do this Perforce (Whilst I can’t trust to other people that I don’t know or can’t see them)

I have enough time before starting and I can delay my business for -one year-, even probably a bit more...
Now what do you recommend with these conditions? Is it worth to learn???

Please give me some info,
Thanks

If you're setting up shop in the very near future, you'll want to hire someone. Managing a server takes quite some time to the 'hang' of.

There are some non-dedicated solutions:
Hostdime: Reseller: 50GB/500GB $1100/yr
Tomsyer.com: semi-dedicated: 60GB/750GB $79.95/mth

Thanks tikmok,
And then what about security, Will they provide it 99.9% secure from attackers, viruses and some features such as weekly backups, firewalls, etc…???

Afraid you have to ask them!

At this time it looks like a semi-dedicated or massive non-oversold reseller account would be best for you. You get all the benefits of a managed server without the extra cost :)
