I am in the process of starting up a website called HorrorcoreMusic.com (the site is not live at this time) and need a logo for the website. There are a few specifications for the logo as listen below:

- Width no more than 400
- Height no more than 100

I need the background color of the logo to be #333333. Other from that and the above, I will let the creator determine the font, font color, ect.

I am not sure if many are familiar with Horrorcore, but if you will check out sites such as:

www.realjuggalos.com

You will kinds get the feal for it as they will tell you about some on the artists.


The winner of the logo design will receive free advertising on the main page of the website (splash page - visible without scrolling) and advertising at the bottom of the forum pages (all pages).


Please submit all submissions within this forum. The contests will end Saturday (will be extended if needed depending on the amount of submissions). After the end of the contest the winner will be announced in this forum as well as e-mailed.

how long will these ads run?

The ads will not start until the site is completly up and running, after which they will run for a period of 3 to 4 months upon deciding the winning designer.

Web Design ads are asked of from the winner so as they do not conflict with our hosts advertising.

what about those who dont have a site of their own to show up?
i ask this as i do freelance work and i myself dont need a site of my own as i am a student and dont want to get into some serious business stuff?
i wanted to participate but my ques remains the same what about people like us??

Well unfortunatly, I am not my own host or I would give away free hosting to those that do not have thier own website. Since the site is new, I also do not have any money coming in from the website or I would give away money.

Right now, all I can give away is advertising on the website in the form of a banner. For those that are freelance designers without a website, the best I could do (since I can not do the above, money or hosting) is mention your name/e-mail in the annoucements proclaiming you as the winner of the logo design contest.

I am sorry I do not have anything better to give away at this time, but that is the best I can do right now. Maybe one the site opens and some advertising comes around, maybe I can look into some pay work.

Well I do like the head, but I am not too much for the font that is used in it. Overall it looks nice, keep em coming.
