Hi,
I saw in another thread someone was talking about colocating using the plan b that tera-byte offers...was wondering if anyone out there has done this, and whether they were happy with the service...

I have this site:

http://www.artistcollaboration.com/discus

on a minitower linux(redhat 7.1) box...my small pipe is beginning to be a problem...I have emailed tera-byte a few questions, and they have answered quickly..most opinions I've been able to find seem positive...I'm a little nervous about shipping my box across the border, if anyone could shed some light on customs fees or whatever I'd be most appreciative..

thanks, sweating bullets here :)

You may want to search for them in the forums, I know there have been plenty of threads about them.

I bought a box through them and it was shipped there, no problems. Took a few weeks to get back (if I recall), but I wasn't exactly in a rush, and they did me a favor after it was pulled so I can't complain (no charge), plus no charge to ship it back to me (if I recall correctly). Overall, no problems and they can be reached via phone which is nice. I was thought I was being probed (and not in that good way), and it turned out to be them installing software, heh.

I don't think you'd have a problem, and wouldn't even post if I had any concerns (try to stay out of recommending hosts here unless I can say something positive about a provider in question and help someone).
