These stats are for the 1st 7 days of January. Yeah, it's a gaming site :D, contains news, game info, maps, and yes...the unavoidable forums, which have a about 510 members (average of 5 new members register a day).

I'm just wondering cause I'm using cj.com currently and only making like $5/month, not that I'm out for the money, it's a "fun" project, but we've had over 41,000 map downloads, and we serve up an agreement page with every download, so it seemed like a way to get good exposure.

Anyways, I'm sure the target market isn't what most of you are after, but my curiousity remains. Thanks for any feedback.

why don't you try gettings some game producers as sponers for your web site. may be microsoft new gaming consol. i am sure you will get good sponsers from gaming world. try putting third party tracker on your site like webtrendslive it will help you allot in proving them the site stats about your web site you are providing them are real.

just my $0.02 :)

Thanks much for the response. I'll add webtrends live for better record keeping purposes. I have no idea how to go about getting the "big boys" to buy space directly though.

If all else fails, maybe I'll see if a host would offer a reduced rate account or something in exchange for a "powered by" banner. Anyways, I'll do some research, nothing is going to fall in my lap in this market.
