what are you asking? If you want to know how to do that it's a very simple passthru call in php but that question belongs in the programming forum ;)

I've tried the passthru call - it won't work - i think its a cgi script but okay

Ryan - does that script require me to have the script on every box? (Do i need apache on every box then) cuz thats not what i want

if you want that machine to ping the user's ip then yes it would need apache/php

Thats a good way of doing it but it doesnt work a lot when people are firewalled or behind routers.. Your average gamer isnt that intelligent in technical things with computers either :P
