I have been having miserable trouble with my raq4i freezing up with high cpu usage, more than regular traffic accounts for.
First it would freeze once a week or so, then daily, now 4 and 5 times a day.
A tech at my hosting company took a look, said apache is core dumping, that I have edited httpd.conf (true, but minor changes suggested in forums) and he suggests a restore.
A few questions, what exactly is a core dump - and is that what would be eating up the cpu?
And what exactly is a restore? Will I need to reinstall php, mysql, mod g_zip, mrtg and such afterwards?
Is it possible to figure out why the core dump is happening so I don't recreate it anew?
Thanks,
Chris
