I unsinstalled it cause it went broke in order to reinstall it but I get "Problem removing old rpm: openssh-3.0.2p1-1" on reinstallation attempt.
Tried to locate the rpm in question in order to delete it but it is not found anywhere.

I cannot help you specifically, but I can tell you the path that I would start down.
Lookup the rpm command in man. I would do two things. First, try rebuilding the rpm database. Your current rpm database may be out of sync with what is actually on the box. (this happens occasionally, don't know why, but it happens)
If that doesn't work, then I would see if the openssh-3.0.2p1-1 rpm is still in the rpm database. If it is, I would try a deinstall using the rpm command. If that doesn't work, then I would try a forced deinstall.
Always use the -v option on the rpm commnads to see what's going on. The command syntax for the above stuff is in man rpm.
Good luck.

Ran the rpm command with -e and got this
[root /root]# rpm -e openssh-3.0.2p1-1
error: removing these packages would break dependencies:
openssh = 3.0.2p1-1 is needed by openssh-clients-3.0.2p1-1
openssh = 3.0.2p1-1 is needed by openssh-server-3.0.2p1-1
I am not sure what to do now...
Edit:
When I try to remove the dependants I get this
rpm -e openssh-clients-3.0.2p1-1 -vv
D: opening database mode 0x82 in /var/lib/rpm
D: getting list of mounted filesystems

at the rackshack forum, you might get more resposnes there. Your signature there is blidning on a 19" monitor..
Just a suggestion, not a flame..
