I currently develop on an NT IIS platform, and do not know alot about LINUX.

I would like to set up an internal network on an APACHE webserver. Eventually, I would also like to host my websites on LINUX.

I am new to Linux, maybe someone can describe the main steps to getting this done.

Basically, I would like to type in a local IP on my IE6, and access a webpage on the APACHE webserver within my network...

Basically, assume I have a windows laptop, and a linux machine, and a hub. Is this possible?

Thanks much,

Dustin

Yes, of course. Assuming you have networking properly configured. You only need to install Linux on the machine, enable httpd, and it is pretty much done if all you need is accessing the Apache page from your Windows machine.
