I'm just wondering: are the people who regulary post new news items on hostingtech.com getting their sources from the Hosting Industry Announcements forum or are they supposed to be submitted to hostingtech.com directly?
Just wondering :)

Well, I was under the impression that you could buy 6 news feeds via myInet, but I am yet to see this option available to buy.
It has always stated that they are 'sold out', for me. We've had a few things we've wanted to release via that medium, to no avail.

I think that would be bad, because then it would pretty much turn into an advertisment site.
For instance I noticed that GNAX posted their announcement of the level 3 addition to their network in the hosting announcements, and a little later it appeared on hostingtech. I know Jeff for quite some time now, I really don't think he has paid hostingtech anything for that..

Not sure where you got that info, but the RSS news feeds are provided as a benefit of being a premium member. They are available to all who are premium members, so I am not sure why you would be waiting on availability. For information on how to get these feeds, please see my sticky in the Premium Members Lounge.

See the attachment.
In "find products" for WHT advertising via MyInet, it states 6 news feeds, and a banner for News Feed selection.

I've also attached a second image showing the selection of 'News Feeds'.
I was under the assumption that this option would be to purchase "6 news feeds and a banner" for WHT's news section (aka hosting tech?), as it's in the WHT section of advertising.

That is actually a mistake. Someone incorrectly entered something in a place they shouldn't have of. I am fixing it now. Thanks for the heads up.
