I havent found too many Solaris control panels.. I know Ensim has some support for them.... I wanted to know how many people would use Solaris for hosting if a reasonably priced control panel was available. Personally, I would use Solaris over Linux.

Actually, I think H-Sphere supports Solaris (or will very soon). You might consider contacting Igor for more info if you are interested (info@psoft.net).
There's no doubting that Solaris is a nice OS. However, it is best suited to running on Sun hardware, which is usually more expensive than Intel hardware--which is probably why there aren't as many hosting companies using it, and consequently, not as many control panel systems available for it.
Just my thoughts anyway.

Sun hardware might be expensive. But now there is the Netra X1 which retails for ~$1000 which is a great server with Lights Out Management and all the great features packed into a 'small' 1U case (size of a cobalt raq). But even running Solaris on intel machines run very smoothly.
