very correct indeed, sure does scare me!
cheers
HostPixel 08-23-2004, 03:17 AM If you look carefully its only for the first month. For the next month you'll have to pay $40.
It is indeedly a very good value, but their response time is slow. I usually got a reply within 24 hours. :(
Overall its good if you dont use support much.
moleo 08-23-2004, 03:26 AM even for $40 or $50 !

sv1us 09-08-2004, 08:00 PM mistajon hows the server? I just ordered their "Value 1" server. I had to do it, curiousity killed the cat :D
iotc247 09-08-2004, 08:44 PM Did you not see the prices for cpanel? Its rediculous 40 bucks..
BYoung 09-08-2004, 09:15 PM so you pay 35 for first month then 40 onwards...thats not too bad, but if you have to pay an extra 40 on top for cPanel that makes 80/month you could prolly get better specs for that amount elsewhere with cPanel

I didn't go through with it
How is the server? Did it take long, please give some feedback :)
Thanks
Jon
sprintserve 09-09-2004, 01:33 PM That's probably cPanel pricing. If you have low volumes, that's the kind of price you have to pay at the start :)
migman 09-09-2004, 01:40 PM you can take cpanel for 19.95$ from the managed.com (if you c have a link from softwareworks.com I thing )
sprintserve 09-09-2004, 02:01 PM That's internal license and only applicable if you have a server at managed.com. Totally unrelated here isn't it.
sv1us 09-10-2004, 10:24 PM So far so good emails answered in a timely manner, setup within 24 hours, reinstall in less than 2.
TheServerExperts 09-11-2004, 12:36 PM Make sure you keep us updated on the progress ;)

n0sig 09-11-2004, 01:30 PM Their site has me totally confused. I was seriously debating getting the 30 dollar server. But everytime their site starts to confuse me. I can get the windows 2003server for free. But I have to provide my license if asked for from the maker. What does that mean. Same goes with sql and Hosting Controller. It says on their site that items with a star next to it require your own license. All I want is the value server with windows and plesk. Thats all I want but everytime I go their and try and do it. Theirs no option for the OS install with windows 2003 server and plesk. I guess Im just totally confused. The msn contact info is a joke. In the last 3 days that person has not come online once. Starting to irritate me as I have some presale questions. And still no response to emails. Any help or suggestions on how to interpret their site would be greatly appreciated.
