Many of you out there, myself included
have webpages that are oh.. let's say about nothing.
Theyre just your own little peice of the internet where you
and your friends share thoughts with the rest of the world.

After 2 years of hosting from Planetz.net
Mine, as well as my friends email accounts
have not worked since day 1.
Their tech responce?
"Well, you have an email account from your isp dont you?"

Also, I have 3 meens of connections here at my home.
1) Cable modem
2) Satalite conenction
3) Dialup

Now, given those 3 methods of connecting to the net
not all 3 could be lagged so bad, that you could not upload
even the smallest of files. i.e. 30k html file for example.

Again, it must be something on my side causing the problem

Now I have aquired a new hosting service.
So all i need fro mmy old hoster (Planetz) is
the info on my domain name, (no-trix.com) in which
they reg for me when they setup my service.

After 2 weeks of trying to get in contact with them
via. numerous emails to their Tech, and to their own personal
email accounts.
No luck
So for those 2+ weeks now, my webpage has been down


Just some friendly advise for you people out there
next time you look for someont to host your page
overlook Planetz

No email with your site for 2 years. I would of left after a week or the min they would of said that to me.

I know plantz comes to this board and have talked ot him before. I can't bleave they would tell some one this. I find it odd any host would say such a thing really.. LOL

I would kill one of techs if they said such a thing.. hehe

I feel for you, I'm trying to free up a domain name for a customer of mine, And the old host is taking there time letting it go :(

I hope you get it resolved soon.

I love it when people remember things said to them 2 years back.....

Well, the email, nor uploading
is my main concern at this moment.

They had their chance
and with it, they proved to me their unability to run
and maintain what I would call a professional web hosting service

All that i want now is my domain
in which I paid for, and rightfully own.

Apparently doing so would take too much time
or be too difficult for them to do speedily..
Being that Im going on 3 weeks now with no domain still
