As most of you know Redhat version 9 and below went EOL. This means you must rely on Fedora legacy, progeny, your own patches, or get an os restore. This is not 100% true. We can migrate your EOL linux box to Centos. You now are wondering "whats centos?". Centos is a community based linux distro that is build from Redhat Enterprise source rpms. If you do not want to be bothered with finding an update for your EOL Redhat this is the perfect solution for you.

What are the risks involved? There are reletivly no risks, we are very experienced in these migrations.

How long does it take? What about downtime? Depending on the box it could take 1 hour to 3 hours. There will be a small downtime for a reboot and in some cases a small downtime for apache recompile if needed.

Are we supported after? You will be supported for 1 week after the migration. If anything is to go wrong, it will go wrong in the first week.

Well, after the first good experience I had to go back. I have had Steve upgrade some more of my servers today. Once again, fast and reliable. Now all of my servers are running an up-to-date OS.
