How big is the harddrive?

· Additional Data above the free 500Mb billed at 7 cents per Megabyte

and whats up with that pricing, thats $70 per gig, or $22,400 per mbit/sec of transfer, don't you think that might be a TAD overinflated?!?!?!
:eek:

The HD space is 10gig

And yes $70 per gig is actually very competitive in Australia

I must be confused, so fill me in.... if $20,000+/month for 1mbit of bandwidth is "competitive in austrailia", then why colocate/host in austrailia period? Would it not make more sense to just host in a more reasonable country?

I am not trying to bash your offer, but if you think about it, around here, $300/month for 1mbit/sec, it sounds totally off the chart to be paying $20,000+/month for the same thing.

Sorry I am confused as to where you are getting the 20 k from?

Cheers,
Marts

This is where i'm getting the $20,000 from marts: .07 * 1000 = $70.00/gb, ~317 gb/month == 1mbit/sec (a standard unit of measurement for transfer). 317 * 70 = $22,190.

1mbit/sec of bandwidth in north america will likely run you around 300$/month (or less, or more, depending on the company), and your rate is ~74x more, so you can see where the confusion comes from .:eek:

What benefits do I have from hosting in Australia, with a much higher rate, then that of the surrounding countries that are more localized to me?

Did you notice that your 64k isdn users get cheaper bandwidth ? (according to your site)

(64k isdn unlimited is 850$ or so, and a 64k will transmit 20 gigs/month max)

Thank you for your reply.
