EV1 tutorial (http://forum.ev1servers.net/showthread.php?threadid=36733&highlight=KISS+my+firewall) Well wild guess here,
go to location of install
"cd /usr/bin/" do an
"ls" and see if it is there
"kiss stop"
"rm -rf kiss"

Then
"pico -w /etc/rc.d/rc.local"
remove the line that starts kiss
Just remove it then
"ctrl+x"
and write the cached file

I would hope you are replacing it with another firewall of some kind. I might throw a pitch in for a couple guys that I have used in the past , frankely for the little money they charge you might sleep a bit better. support@serverwizards.com (Use MSN Messenger) No they dont give free service but then again the cost of a screw up could hurt you worse. :D

pico -w /etc/rc.d/rc.local

this is what I found there

#!/bin/sh
#
# This script will be executed *after* all the other init scripts.
# You can put your own initialization stuff in here if you don't
# want to do the full Sys V style init stuff.

touch /var/lock/subsys/local
(sleep 10;/etc/rc.d/init.d/bandmin start)&
rdate -s rdate.darkorb.net&

#--Added by /scripts/securetmp--
/scripts/securetmp --auto

where is the line that start kiss ??
