OK,

I'd like to hear some opinions from you.
Just imagine that recently you need a new host for your site.
And finally you have already narrow your choices to some webhosting company.

Let's say that XYZ webhost has a good packages, but that company using third party company to process the payment (such as IBill, Revecom, Paypal, etc). The signup process will have two step. First step is fill out their order form (complete with your name, address etc etc) and the second step is go to payment form which is provided by the third party company. And again, you must complete a form.

That takes a lot of time. I think :D
And my questions is:
will you go with a webhost company which using the third party company to process your payment, while on the other hand you can go with a webhost company which have their own credit card processor? (let say that both of them have a great packages)

Thx.

just because they use some other credit card processing(so what if it takes 2 steps)..You have to look at their service and tech support

Makes no difference. It looks more professional if they have their own merch. account, but sometimes the other processors are temporary, or they just use it for other reasons.

Honestly, it is actually more secure to use a thrid party processor, since the host won't actually have your credit card numbers on file. But that is besides the point.

Since my company was mentioned, I thought I would point out a few things about why we decided to use Revecom.

First of all, we are a small company, and we like it that way. There are currently three people that work here. Leaving all of the credit card processing and billing operations to a third party lets us focus on helping our customers.

Secondly, the flexibility that Revecom offers has helped up to expand our business. By offering credit card processing in 180 currencies, and accepting online checks, we have been able to attract customers from all over the world.

Yes, the sign up process does involve an extra step, but I believe that the benefits that Revecom has brought to our business far outweighs the minor inconveniences. I have not had a customer complain aobut the sign up form, but have actually attracted business with Revecom. For example, a new reseller signed up for an account yesterday. He was in a hurry to get started because he already had several customers wanting to sign up. We set up his account, and contacted Revecom. In less than 24 hours his site was on the web and accepting credit cards. Now is Network Soultions will just hurry up with the name servers.

If anyone has any questions about Revecom, please feel free to contact me. I would be happy to tell you what I know.

Thank you very much.

UnitedTec, I'd like to know how did you bill your reseller(s) for their clients' account(s)?

Did they must fill out a new Revecom processing form everytime they got a new client?

Or you could increase the amount of their bill for the next month through your admin area at Revecom?

Also, since I didn't like to receive a check under US$ 500,00 ; I was wondering if Revecom willing to roll over my revenue and send it to me until it become more than US$ 500,00 ?

Again, thank you very much.
Thx.

sodapopinski,

I'll try to answer your questions:

No, our resellers are billed once a month. All resold accounts that are set up in a month are not billed until the end of the billing period.

Also, since I didn't like to receive a check under US$ 500,00 ; I was wondering if Revecom willing to roll over my revenue and send it to me until it become more than US$ 500,00 ?

I don't know about this. I haven't talked to the people at Revecom abut it, but I don't think it would be a problem.

I've surely no problem with third-party billing. We use such services on our sites for a number of reasons. They reduce our manpower requirements, for one. For another, it keeps things honest -- as we're out of the loop on private credit card information. In a few cases, one of the processors we use (ClickBank.com) also offers a free, integrated affiliate program, all automatic, which would be a real bear for us to handle if we had to do it ourselves.
