Hello,
On the homepage of buy.com there is a nice moving image that rotates new products. I thought it was flash but it seems to be some kind of jpeg? Can anyone tell me if it is, and if so, how did they make it?

Thanks

It looks like a javascript rotater.

Probably a custom script, but it is a very nice effect.

I've seen an animated .jpeg before - you do it in Flash. :P

I see, thanks, but I would love to make it so that when an image rotates in, it can link to another page, new image=new page. Can that only be done in flash?

“taltos1” what you are looking for is a banner rotating script, that can change banners, try searching in http://www.hotscripts.com

If im not mistaking, cant u animate a .gif in Image Ready and then link each frame to a page u want? Just an idea, also banner rotators work great. You could probly get sum javascript code to fade between each image in a directory.
