I'm hoping maybe someone here can help me out. I'm just a regular person who runs a fan site and I'm looking for a good host. I just want a good host at a descent price.

I was used to be hosted by all those free hosting places but they were horrible, so finally in August of 2001 I paid TechnoHosts.com $130 to host my site for one year. Little did I know that would be one of the biggest mistake I EVER made. Starting the day before Thanksgiving my site went down and it has been down ever since. Then, I was informed that TechnoHosts is no longer hosting sites and that ADEhost is my new host.

Finally found those emailed AdeHost sent me, it was all my fault :blush: :blush: AdeHost is actually very supportive people who are with them... give them a chance they really aren't that bad.

ADEhost isn't responding to any of my emails and when I get a hold of them on AIM or something they tell me that there is a problem and they can't fix it. I asked them for my money back but they said that they will eventually fix the problem. Right now, all I wanna do it get my money back and find a new host.

I'm so fustrated right now, is anyone else have this Technhosts -> AdeHost problem? Does anyone have any suggestions for me?:angry:

You could do a chargeback against TechnoHosts / ADEhost if they refuse to refund you your money, but its quite some time ago, so you may experience more problems...
There are plenty of reputable hosts on the board who would give you a much better experience - if you post in the Requests Forum, you will get some quotes - you can search for information on the companies that provide you with quotes, and if you come accross negative feedback at WHT, and other sites, then you should look elsewhere for hosting.

Thanks so much for the advice. TechnoHosts was sooo good at first but then over night they gave me all kinds of problems. Can you tell me what WHT is, sorry I just registered in these forums today.

Take a look in the Special Offers forum. There are quite a few posts in there from reputable companies that frequent this forum. You should have no problem finding a host for your site.

Webhead the other day I was searching a host search site and I found a little gem called Method5. Their plans seem to fit within your range for your site.

www.method5.com .net? I think its .com shoot them and e-mail and see if they work for you. Their site looked really good (That chick is hot!) and it just looked like a very together hosting company.

Might be good for a couple sites at their prices.

I prefer performancce over cheap prices personally.

Because of the problem of competitors posting "constructive criticisim", the moderators have disabled reply in the forum. Interested hosts will contact you through PM or email.

There is contract dispute.
