I don't know why, but our site on tera-byte.com host is very slow (even I use cable at school ) . Anyone tells me if it's slow or not ? (and please tell me how to analyze the inform , so I can know the next time):

The numbers on the left represent the time in milliseconds that it takes for a packet to make the roundtrip from the source computer to their server and back. In order to make a fair comparison, you should traceroute to other hosts and see which is faster (lower numbers are faster).

Also keep in mind that the results may be greatly different depending on where the traceroute originates. Try it from different computers.

Question:

Are you tracing from the same continent?
To me it looks like you are tracing from a trans-atlantic location.

Looking at the figures I would suggest to contact your backbone provider and have them contact their peering partner about this issue.

Please keep in mind that different companies have different standards.
E.G. - Alter.net might have 200ms as a standard (personally I think that it would be around 75ms) on their backbone, depending on the link your riding on. It might also be that the backbone provider and its peering partners have oversold their network, or it was just a peak that you have hit.
