I asked how to get MRTG for my server. Dwight of tomsyer said there is no client level access for this. I've been instructed to look at cpanel to monitor my bandwidth usage! How odd?!!! Two questions:
1. how will I monitor bandwidth usage accurately without mrtg? I know cpanel is not good for this. any tips?
2. I have servers in managed.com and servermatrix.com and both provide mrtg. should i demand mrtg from tom?
fyi, my server is on theplanet datacenter.

You could "chattr +i" whatever files CPanel overwrites, but right now, I'm not even sure what files it overwrites. Well, that's my next project for the upcoming week :)

We plan to have bandwidth graphing available to all clients very soon. The system is being developed at this time for this. However if you need a reading you can contact support at any time to have a reading provided to you.
Thank You

Cool, that would be great. I keep unofficial stats with bwbar and it seems to work pretty good.

Hi nowanda,
I have the mrtg rpm that was modified for cpanel. I have updated cpanel a few times and it has not modified mrtg at all. So if you would like me to install it for you free, Please contact me via PM with your details.
