Hi everyone! I'm new in all this stuff. I got a reseller account. I don't intend to have customers, till I'm prepared. So these months I will do some training. I would really appreciate it, if you could share some knowledge with me. I have some questions :

My account has WHM and cpanel.
1. Is there a way to have a file size limit with WHM, for the accounts.
2. Let's say that a customer doesn't have a domain, and needs a subdomain as account. I think that in the create account panel, I should enter as domain the subdomain and create the account. If this is correct, then what I do? How the account is related with the physical subdomain?
3. Having the idea to offer some free accounts without offering the cpanel, I wonder if this is possible. For give them access to handle their mysql, without the Cpanel, what I should do?

I know that I need to ask many more questions. But I stop here. Maybe another day, I'll post some more questions. Hope someone has the time to answer.

Thanks

(forgive my bad english and my stupid questions. The funny thing is that I know just a few things , that I don't even know if what I ask is stupid or not. Anyway...)

Just wondering why you dont e-mail your host these questions? They should be able to answer them for you.

I think you're right. But I believe that a help from people that maybe had in the past the same questions you have now, is always better, than a host's email.

Nobody can give me an answer? I wonder why. I'm sure that many of you can give me a valid answer to all my questions in a minute.

Is there a way to have a file size limit with WHM, for the accounts.
-- When you create an account in WHM you set whats called the quota, this will limit how much space they can use.

Let's say that a customer doesn't have a domain, and needs a subdomain as account. I think that in the create account panel, I should enter as domain the subdomain and create the account. If this is correct, then what I do? How the account is related with the physical subdomain?
-- You would create the account in WHM just like you would create an account that had its own domain name.

Having the idea to offer some free accounts without offering the cpanel, I wonder if this is possible. For give them access to handle their mysql, without the Cpanel, what I should do?
-- I dont think thats possible, unless your host lets you upload your own cpanel theme which only has access to the mysql part.

Hey Mike, glad to see your questions solved. And welcome to the forum!

Just a reminder, in general, you should search the forum, or try to find answer on your own first, it is much faster than posting a topic and waiting for others to reply.
