Hi,

I have a VPS with servint and since over a week now I have problems that my domain is from time to time not reachable from my location here in Belgium. Here is the error message I get.

http://search.msn.fr/dnserror.aspx?FORM=DNSAS&q=www.mejashop.com

I contacted Servint already a few times and got everytime a quick answer by telling me that they could access the site and they gave me the tip to trie and make a traceroute to the IP adress.

So here it goes very confusing for me. With the IP adress I can access the site but when I type the domain www.mejashop.com it's down or not reachable??

Does anybody know what could be the problem and what could be done.

Please note that I am not a Server Admin and a very novice.

Regards

Your domain is accessible from here. Might be a propagation issue.
Your dns report only has one fail issue.

Did you post this over in the ServInt forum? I don't claim to be the super sysadmin but I try and putz around. From what I can tell from dnsreport it looks like you didn't setup your nameservers the way "most" people would have on the server. BTW, your site works for me.

next time it happens, try viewing it through the "site viewer" at anybrowser.com,,,,,,,, this will show you whether others can see it
