Hi,
I have been looking at the following three datacentres as they accept paypal for payment :-
Managed - http://www.managed.com
Nocster - http://www.nocster.net
Interserver - http://www.interserver.net
Managed datacentre is really cheap but uptime is bad as of what I have seen and support staff are not around until 5PM my time (GMT UK London Time) which causes problems for me.
I have heard bad things about support from Nocster but heard their uptime was good.
I have heard good things about Interserver as they have excellent uptime and great support but one comment that I will not mention here put me off them.
I am edgeing towards Interserver because of great uptime (dispite high price), but want to know what the rest of you think about these datacentres.
Also, is it best to have high end servers (dual xeon with 2 gigs of ram) and host lots of clients on or low end servers (P4 2.8GHz with 1 gig of ram) and host only a few clients.
Yours,
Craig Brass
