A new domain: envisionhost.com and envisionhost.net are being sold. Please ignore all posts that suggests that the domain auction is completely over. The auction of Teenvalue.com is over not Envisionhost.com/.net. Please visit http://www.envisionhost.net for the latest status on the auction!

Please read my 3rd or 4th post in this thread.

Sorry, but I've already sold teenvalue.com for $15.
------------------------------------
teenvalue.com - Originally intended for a site for teenagers to gather to share news, ideas, and experiences. The image of this site was given to me by couple of my friends who wanted to develop a network online differentiating age groups and their interests. A forum for teenvalue.com was another planned yet discontinued idea.

teenvalue.com expires on 5/6/2002
--------------------------------------

However, if you see my 3rd or 4th post in this thread, you'll see that I am currently selling envisionhost.com and envisionhost.net and you can see the status of that auction at http://www.envisionhost.net

Thank you,
John

Please note:
- Your bid is not retractable!
- Payments are preferred by PayPal (Credit Cards are accepted but are subject to $1.00 trasaction fee.)
- All sales are final - No refunds will be given after payment is completed.
- Once payment is completed, Domain Ownership transfer will be quick and swift.
- You will have Domain Control Panel account with Stargate.com.
- Hosting does not come with the domain.

Sorry guys,

It was a last minute setup and once I had the bidding rules posted, I didn't want to disappoint anyone by changing it after somebodys already bid.

I have a pretty good hosting .com .net (same domain) combination that I will be selling shortly to someone who wants to open a hosting business.

Thanks

You should have put teenvalue.com on eBay or kept the bid open longer as I would have put in a bid for it too.

I wasn't interested in the Domain for myself but it would have been perfect for a friend of mine. :(

You should have had the bidding open for at least 24 hours.

By the way...
I would have paid $40.

I am going to sell another set of domains, these domains can't be bought one by one - you'll understand why.

The domains are:
envisionhost.com
envisionhost.net

Please visit http://www.envisionhost.com - It contains all the relevant information required to bid and keep an eye on the status of the auction.

Since this bidding script was coded by me in an effort to make bidding easy, please email john@alpha-digital.com if you see any bugs.

Thank you!

Bid Now! (http://www.envisionhost.com)

How is stargate? Is it possible to set them to use my nameserver's? I'm considering buying a domain from them (great prices!), but I want to make sure that I can use my own nameservers with them as they only had this:

Internic Fees
One page website
URL Forwarding with masking/cloaking
One email address (includes forwarding)
Online registrant/ownership changes
Multi-year discounts!
All this for only $8.85 USD per year!

I just want to run it off of my own damn nameservers! :)

yep, you can change the nameservers to anything you'd like - i thought every registrar allowed changing to nameserver to anything you wanted? correct me if i'm wrong ;)

do I have to sign this contract and send it to them...? I've looked over it and it's fine, but I don't feel like waiting untill they recieve it.

when I transferred a domain from registerfly.com and doster.com, I didn't have to send them a contract i signed...

when I registered 2 additional domains with them, i don't remember sending them a contract...

im not completely sure, maybe they changed their domain registration policies for purchasing domains with them? I hope not!

hmm, i need some advice - should the auction information page (http://www.envisionhost.com) contain the person's name with the winning bid?

I just realized that some may not want their true names revealed so openly like that...

let me know what you think ;)

Hmm, I guess $35 was too high of a minimum for envisionhost.com (expiring in 2003) and envisionhost.net?

Well, the minimum was lowered to $25 - you can bid on those domains at http://www.envisionhost.com

thanks!

[edit]
Please include your WHT username if you bid! This will help me out alot! Thanks!

Envisionhost.com/.net will be down until I switch to a new host. I will extend the auction by the amount of days it takes to reload the site. You can still bid if you like by emailing me!

Thanks!

Site is backup but visit http://www.envisionhost.net instead of .com - I changed the DNS of the .net yesterday realizing that I will need to move to another host. Today I changed the .com to point to the .net so, that should be resolving to .net by tomorrow morning or so.

I've decided to put up a maximum offer: whoever bids $60 first will end the auction immediately.

I'm hoping that this is my last post about this auction - but I'll keep this thread updated whenever something significant happens (bug, auction end announcement, etc).

Thanks and have a good day!

Announcement
EnvisionHost.com and EnvisionHost.net will be sold to the highest bidder at 10PM US Eastern Time today. I am posting this announcement because I had gotten many complaints from WHT visitors claiming that my last domain auction went unnoticed. With this announcement, hopefully, everyone had a chance to consider purchasing these two domains.

Surprisingly enough, there is only one bidder at this time. You can view the status of the domain at http://www.envisionhost.com or http://www.envisionhost.net .

Please feel free to email me at john@alpha-digital if you have any questions about the domains being sold or if you notice any bugs with the auction script I coded for selling off these two domains.

Thank you,
John Hwang
