This is really a market research question for our company, WorldWideWebsites and not a pitch to sell you our existing service which is aimed at allowing non-technical endusers (not technical gurus like most of this forum's members) to create websites.

The question is "What do you do when a customer wants pages on his website that he or his staff can update easily - and by easily I mean in a few minutes with no technical knowledge or training?

I'm asking because our company could (we do not at present) offer to be a "behind the scenes" provider to meet that need allowing you to offer "customer controlled pages" in conjunction with the custom designed website that you did that the user could NOT change or screw up.

The way it would actually work is that your site would link to those pages the customer wanted to be able to update (like daily menu changes or adding and deleting pictures of unique items - cars, antiques, etc. - as they change) which would be maintained on our servers and using a "slightly" different domain name. If you think there is a need for this we offer a free trial so you could see how easy your customers could update those pages without taking any chances they could mess up their main site that you created for them.
Let me know if this is of interest and we will try to create an offering for that application. Also note we have a new version coming (actually already overdue but that's software) that will add many new features so if this idea sounds viable but you don't see a feature you need, please suggest it. (Naturally for a service like this sold as a content management solution through real web developers we would remove all the direct sales pitches and links to our company). Thanks
