I'm looking to get a merchant account fast and I came across these guys. What do you think about them? Anybody have any experience with them? Their rates seem to be good, and I can be up and running today.

Just wondering .. why no echo? I have been looking into them for my cc needs..

Well it's not that I don't like Echo, I just need the merchant account ASAP, and I already have the information for echo, but its going to take me about another 2 weeks to get running...

Also, no echo because Authorize.net is seemlessly capatible with most shopping carts and is easy to implement into payment systems. I am aware that echo is too, but like I said, I need a merchant account fast!

What i'll do is go ahead an try these people if i don't hear anything negative about them in the next 15 hours, and post my initial experience with them.

I don't know them or anyone that has used them. I happened upon their website a few weeks ago but was turn off by the fact that their web site isn't even done. Either that or they didn't take much care in setting up their template for the site. You might be warry of them for that reason alone.

Yeah, I was aware of the unprofessinal state of their web site, however they have no restrictions on cancellation so if I don't like them, I'll get rid of them, and continue with echo.

Well I took a look at their site and I have seen cheaper pricing at other authorize.net resellers. Take a look at www.merchantexpress.com as they offer instant approval for clients which have great credit. Their rates appear to be a little cheaper than the site that you mentioned as well. Talk to Joy Coleman, I'll see if I can dig up her extention. Also, why do you need a merchant account which can be setup nearly instantaneously, as there is a lot of paperwork to go through and sign, and a lot of fine print. Why not take some time to look around, call around and see which provider best suits your needs, as this is not something to rush into.
