WHo wants to join me for a couple of Jamaican Rum n Cokes?
I FINALLY got my last domain out from Itsyourdomain.com's talons.
My experience shows how registrars can hold you hostage. I personally believe they do a lot of this on purpose. I previously lost a sweet domain sale because of this. That time, after many hassles, someone - a tech support guy- probably had a conscience and felt sorry for me, offered to manually
ensure it went through (as if it was a favour) after which it did. The person isn't there any more so no chance of begging again. I have been going through their channels with weeks of no success. Phone numbers must be buried along with Annie Bonny.
In a nutshell (because this is actually a long story), eventually I got all I needed from them and submitted their fax-form which they require notarized, plus a photo ID and there was no further step to go. By then of course my transfer request expired AGAIN. So once again I re-requested, but this time on the advice of a post here, I politely mentioned that if it failed one more time I would be looking into alterntives available to me to force them to live up to their ICANN regulations. Today I received the email ...IT REALLY IS MY DOMAIN as of today!!!!
Whoop Whoop!!
All who want White 101% overproof say Aye!
