so wwd is withholding 30% and so does tk domains, unless you fill out some form. but I don't know, should it be filed out some certain way. do you as a foreign reseller with no relation with US other than reselling for a US company, have to pay their taxes? How do you fill out their form? and should you fill out 8-ben or 8-eci. thy are full of american legal terms :(

No, you don't have to pay any taxes.

I haven't had any problems with WWD, haven't filled any form and they are not keeping my taxes.

Don't know about .tk, that's tokelau's domain name but is actually being managed by a company from the UK or somewhere in Europe. In Europe you don't have to pay taxes if you are outside the country where the company resides (if it's in a country that is a member of the Eurpean Union and you are in the European Union then you might be liable for taxes).

oh, really? but they are both giving out IRS forms that are meant to be filled out by foreign companies, and I have read it on the wwd site that they do hold 30% :confused: :eek:

i doubt non-american pay taxes for such services, and recently ev1servers slashed out all taxes on their services for non texas residents AFAIK.

hmm I would be very happy if a foreign wwd reseller who has filled out these forms and doesn't pay taxes would point out how to fill out these:

what I dont understand:

whats the difference between corporation and disregarded entity in american law, specifically what is Regulations section
301.7701-2(b) ?

are you generally exempted or generally have to pay, i.e. need to use any exemption laws? ie. just filling out identification and sending it in is enough to avoid taxes? As a small company which checkboxes do I need to check under part II ?

Well, I never filled them, and I was never asked to do so.

I have an account @ WWD and has been active since 2 years ago, it holds about 1500 domains and I haven't paid a single cent for taxes.
