Hey all,
How do you guys go about finding shades of a certain color, Like I have #2E2F9B but I need a shade or two that will match that.

This is the coolest answer to the question.
What is the difference between "web-safe" and "web-smart"?

Coolest? No. The previous replies with links were the cool ones.

I assume you now know what "web-safe" is.
IMO most browsers and video cards of modern computers are capable of rendering many more than those few "web-safe" colors. So don't bother limit your creations to just web-safe colors! Just design to your fullest :)

If you have PhotoShop, open the color pallette, enter the number you have into the input boxes....that will bring up the color, you can then select colors neighboring it which are different shades...the respective # for the color you select will also be available....

Those are all some great links!
But how does this one work? http://www.colormatch.dk/
Nothing is clickable for me. Perhaps Mozilla is not compatible with that site...?
